We’ve been a bit slow to report this.. but 422 South created a short animated dataviz for a video promo for the anniversary of last years mega successful fund raising campaign – The Ice Bucket Challenge. The campaign went viral in a way never seen before on social media. Data used records the time and location of ice bucket postings. You can see how the challenge starts in Boston before quickly spreading around the world.
The campaign won 2 Golden Lions at the Cannes Film Festival in June, having raised millions of dollars in support of ALS research – also called Motor Neurone Disease.
