The Channel 4 documentary ‘Air India Crash: What Went Wrong?’ provides an in-depth investigation into the events of the Air India Flight 171 disaster featuring interviews with aviation experts, accounts from the victim’s families and never-before-seen footage.
The Air India passenger flight from Ahmedabad India to London Gatwick ended just 32 seconds after take off on the afternoon of 12th June 2025. It crashed into nearby college buildings, killing all 12 crew members and 229 passengers. On the ground, 19 people were killed and 67 others were seriously injured. Miraculously, 1 passenger managed to walked away from the scene.
Why did this catastrophic event happen and how did 1 passenger miraculously walk away from the scene with only minor injuries?!
