From the 16th November, PBS airs its landmark six-part, 12-hour documentary series  'The American Revolution'. Directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt, it examines America’s founding struggle, presenting the story of the men and women of the Revolutionary generation, their humanity in victory and defeat, and the crisis that they lived through.  The American Revolution is an expansive, evenhanded look at the virtues and the contradictions in the fight for independence and the birth of the United States.

Maps were a huge part of the series and 422 South produced 3D recreations to help master the complexity of the stories of some of the most significant battles.

‘The American Revolution’ premieres on PBS on Sunday 16th November and will be available to stream anytime on the PBS website and app. View the trailer and read more about the film here.
