What is GIS?

ESRI

What is GIS? GIS stands for Geographic Information System and is the method used to link data with mapping. ESRI asked us to help reveal how GIS can be an incredibly important tool in real-world situations. Across 5 films, we convey scenarios such as selecting the best location for a new retail store or executing the most efficient response to emergencies such as hurricanes, fires, and earthquakes.

Working to ESRI’s existing brand guidelines and utilising actual real-world ESRI data, we designed technical yet accessible imagery that both informs and engages. Each of the 5 films can be viewed on the ESRI site here.
